Lisa Swanson L.Ac. has been working in the field of natural medicine for over 10 years. She has a broad range of experience and has treated diverse communities. Lisa is a California State Board Licensed Acupuncturist and graduated from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, California.

Prior to acupuncture school she attended Mills College in Oakland, California and studied pre-med and anthropology. Before going into private practice, Lisa treated women with cancer at the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic and specialized in Hepatitis C at the Kuan Yin Healing Arts Center. She held residencies at the California Pacific Medical Center stroke rehabilitation clinic, the Lifelong Family Practice Clinic, the Women's Cancer Resource Center, and the HAART Methadone Clinic treating patients with addiction. Lisa practices the Balance Method which required special training and is extremely effective in treating any ailment, especially pain. In addition she is a Nutrition Response Tester and Purification Cleanse specialist utilizing Standard Process supplements and herbs. Lisa also studied facial acupuncture from 2 world renowned teachers, and worked in a GYN and fertility clinic with Robin Hays OMD, L.Ac. 

Lisa is an American Conservatory trained actor, a certified yoga instructor, and loves to dance in her spare time.
